About The Position

As a Security Officer Emergency Assistance in Fremont, California, you will support a dynamic automotive location and help safeguard clients. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and clear communication. The role includes following site-specific security procedures and policies, responding to emergencies and incidents, monitoring access and visitor activity, and documenting and communicating observations. The position is full-time and pays $22.52 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Thursday through Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A Guard Card or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of automotive manufacturing, service, and/or distribution locations, including buildings, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site-specific procedures to help deter unauthorized entry.
Document incidents, observations, and irregular conditions, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
