As a Security Officer Clinical Campus Patrol in Wexford, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while contributing through teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture.

Requirements

Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
Be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be able to restrain individuals.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, wayfinding, and compliance with applicable facility policies.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
