As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital / Alarm Response in Wexford, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a caring environment while working collaboratively with staff and visitors. Requirements

Must be willing to receive required hospital vaccines.
Must be comfortable working in a hospital morgue.
Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with facility procedures, providing directions and assistance as needed.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
