About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time - Hospital in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, families, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, families, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and assist with maintaining orderly movement throughout the location.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
