About The Position

Allied Universal is currently hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Corporate site in Cambridge MA. As a Security Officer in Cambridge, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control and badge processes, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and team members while helping maintain a welcoming, secure environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and report observations through established site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the commercial property, including building interiors, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry and suspicious activity.
Document daily activities, patrol findings, incidents, and maintenance concerns accurately and promptly.
