About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer serving as a lobby concierge at a financial institution in Westerville, Ohio, you will create a welcoming first impression while supporting a secure environment. You will greet visitors, manage access, monitor activity, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns. The role is scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and pays $19.10 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet employees, visitors, and contractors at the front desk and support site-specific access procedures.
Verify visitor identification, manage visitor registration, issue temporary credentials, and direct guests according to established policies.
Monitor access points, reception-area activity, and security-related systems; report unusual activity or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following applicable emergency response procedures.
Maintain accurate visitor, access, and incident records.
Communicate professionally with client representatives, employees, and Allied Universal leadership.
