Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain accurate access-related records.
  • Coordinate with warehouse personnel, transportation teams, and site contacts regarding deliveries, driver check-in procedures, and restricted-area access.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, dock areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
