About The Position

As a Security Officer - Credential Verification in Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and respond to alarm notifications and security-related concerns. You will maintain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols, help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Experience using an alarm panel is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured entry points, or conditions requiring attention.
Complete accurate reports, logs, and shift documentation regarding access activity, incidents, patrols, and observations.
