About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer in Identity Management in Memphis, Tennessee, you will safeguard clients by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and managing visitor access. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate clearly with employees and guests, and respond to security-related concerns while providing customer service. The schedule is Friday and Saturday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and contractors while following site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency-response activities.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access records.
Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations professionally, and escalate concerns according to established procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity or unauthorized access.
Document incidents, maintain daily activity logs, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
