Requirements
- Have at least two years of security-related experience.
- Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Have access control or badge experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a pharmaceutical healthcare location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, laboratories, office areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site requirements.
- Complete detailed activity reports, communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and maintain a professional presence throughout assigned areas.
