As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through professional communication and customer service while documenting observations and assisting visitors and employees. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout operational areas, parking areas, loading and receiving zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
