About The Position

The iconic Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor is seeking an experienced and motivated security officer to join their team! This 757-room property is located next to Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Inner Harbor’s museums, the National Aquarium, and connected to Baltimore Convention Center via skywalk! Ideal candidates for this position will have a passion for teamwork and a friendly/service-oriented demeanor in addition to previous security experience! Please note that a current/valid Maryland security license is required to be considered for this role. Shift Pattern: candidates should be available to work AM, PM and Overnight shifts as needed without restrictions (weekend availability required) Pay Rate: $23.41 per hour, paid biweekly on Fridays Sign-On/Retention Bonus: $250.00 after the 90-day probationary employment period, $250.00 after six months of employment and $500.00 after 365 days of employment

Requirements

Previous security experience
Current/valid Maryland security license
Available to work AM, PM and Overnight shifts as needed without restrictions
Weekend availability required

Responsibilities

Patrol the interior of and the perimeter of the hotel and the property to observe and identify potential safety risks, security risks and undesirable conditions
Respond to emergency situations including, but not limited to, safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies and threats to life and/or property
Promote safe work practices
Initiates preliminary investigations into incidents, as needed
Writes reports and ensures accuracy of necessary documentation, as needed
Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
