About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Front Desk Security Officer for a healthcare location in Clifton, New Jersey. The officer will provide a welcoming, professional presence for visitors, patients, and staff; manage entrance access; monitor activity; respond to security concerns; and provide customer service and clear communication. The role is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM and pays $18.27 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, as permitted and required by applicable law.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any state or local licensing requirements that may apply before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and vendors by following site-specific security procedures and front-desk policies, and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate.
Welcome visitors, verify identification and appointment information, manage visitor access, and direct people to appropriate laboratory or healthcare service areas.
Monitor access points, receive and document deliveries, maintain visitor logs, and report unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, follow established protocols, and contact emergency services or site contacts when needed.
Maintain a professional and orderly reception environment, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and help deter unauthorized access.
