About The Position

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients across industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role involves providing customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, following site-specific policies, responding to emergencies, and conducting regular and random patrols around client businesses and their perimeters. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The position pays $19.00 per hour and requires open availability.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Possess a current California Guard Card with training certificates.
• Have a valid California driver's license and a clean driving record for more than one year.
• Have open availability.
• Be able to stand for extended periods while performing assigned job duties.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients while carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
