About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an unarmed Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Service in Fort Worth, Texas. The role provides a reliable weekly shift at an assigned site, with a six-month commitment to the designated site and shift. In addition to the anchor shift, employees may claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and the option to scale back. The listed pay rate is $20.00 per hour. The scheduled shift is Monday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment, if required.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Alarm panel experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter, identifying and reporting unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe personnel, visitor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; contact appropriate personnel or emergency responders as needed.
• Accurately document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in required reports and logs.
