As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credential Review in East Syracuse, NY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Control access by verifying employee, visitor, contractor, and driver credentials and authorizations before permitting entry.
Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle and pedestrian traffic, maintain access logs, and report unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
