You will manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and provide professional communication that helps deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, reviewing authorization requirements, issuing visitor and contractor passes, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records.
• Monitor access points, alarm systems, cameras, and other security-related equipment; report unusual activity, access concerns, and equipment issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access control points, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
