About The Position

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling a variety of locations. The officer preserves order while enforcing regulations and directives at client sites concerning personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area.

The position involves conflict resolution and de-escalation, frequent interaction with client employees and guests, identifying and reporting safety issues or suspicious activity, completing assigned rounds, and providing customer service. Officers use technology devices during their shifts, conduct property tours, and carry out other similar duties as required at their assigned site.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Above-average computer and technology skills.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift.
• Professional demeanor.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
• Willingness to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.
• Safe Driver certification.
• CPR certification.
• Excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous security experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises, control access, and patrol assigned locations.

• Follow post orders and complete assigned rounds.
