As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Patrol in Lafayette, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, warehouses, and perimeter points to help identify potential concerns and report security-related issues.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials where required, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas in accordance with post instructions.
Support daily operations by observing workplace conditions, reporting hazards, equipment issues, and/or policy concerns, and following Allied Universal and site procedures.
