As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by monitoring access points, screening people and property, and reporting security-related concerns. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while providing professional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or delivery drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Screen individuals, belongings, packages, and/or other items in accordance with site procedures and applicable screening requirements.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregular activity to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
