As a Security Officer - Global Drive in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer, you’ll support a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, controlling site access, and documenting security-related activity. You’ll maintain a visible presence, help deter incidents, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and respond to access concerns with integrity. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Possess 1+ years of law enforcement experience OR 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing authorized personnel in accordance with site requirements.
Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help identify irregular conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
Maintain accurate logs, reports, and access-control records while communicating professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and emergency personnel.
