Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• 21+ years of age
• Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
• Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public agencies as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, exterior grounds, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or unusual conditions in accordance with post instructions.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities, and provide clear information to supervisors, client representatives, and/or first responders when needed.
