About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Experienced Driver Patrol to serve and safeguard clients at a commercial real estate location in Montgomery, Alabama. The role includes vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, responding to security-related concerns, documenting activity, and providing customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors. The scheduled hours are Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.93 per hour.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
Valid driver’s license, required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed vehicle and foot patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity according to site-specific procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel or emergency responders as needed.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities through clear and timely reports.
