Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, assisting with access control, visitor direction, and other security-related support functions as needed.
Support a professional healthcare environment by communicating clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy-related issues.
