As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms and access concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and teammates while supporting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

  • Have at least two years of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a corporate technology location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, parking facilities, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, visitor activity, and credential compliance in accordance with site procedures; report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
  • Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant security-related observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
