Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access awareness, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents while contributing to a caring, agile, and reliable team that values people first, teamwork, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and/or notifying appropriate campus contacts.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, common areas, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations as assigned.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations across the location.
• Support students, staff, visitors, and/or faculty by providing directions, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and communicating observations to site leadership.
