This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site emergency protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, process areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor and document access activity, visitor and contractor entry, and unusual conditions in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Report hazards, suspicious activity, damaged barriers, and other security-related concerns to appropriate site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
