As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Shift in Columbus, OH, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a food and beverage location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including production, storage, shipping, receiving, parking, and perimeter areas, noting and reporting security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, help to deter unauthorized entry, and follow site protocols for personnel, vendors, and deliveries.
Complete required reports and documentation related to patrols, incidents, and/or operational concerns, and assist with directing people during alarms, evacuations, and other response events.
