As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Reception Ambassador in Washington, DC, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Client Requires Proof of HS Diploma/GED
• 21+ Years of Age Security Experience - 2+ Years

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at a front desk by greeting students, faculty, staff, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying identification, following visitor sign-in procedures, issuing visitor credentials as authorized, and directing guests to appropriate campus resources.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, calls for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and records of visitor activity, incidents, deliveries, and other front-desk security-related events.
• Communicate professionally with campus personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns, policy questions, and unusual activity.
