Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age (for Corporate/Customer Service role).
Associates degree OR 2 years of honorable military service OR 2 years of professional Law Enforcement experience (for Corporate/Customer Service role).
High school diploma or GED required, OR ability to complete GED program within 6 months.
1+ years of professional experience in customer service and 1+ years of security experience required.
Standard computer / technology skills needed.
Exceptional customer service experience required (for Corporate/Customer Service role).
Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation measures.
Must be able to conduct patrols throughout a shift.
All candidates must be willing to participate in Securitas’ pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
Must be at least 18 years of age (for Customer Service role).

Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus! (for Customer Service role)

Responsibilities

Maintain composure during urgent or high pressure situations with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public.
Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
Secure entrances / exits.
Conduct patrols inside and outside the client's premises in various weather conditions.
Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others.
Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
