About The Position
Securitas is seeking to hire Armed Security Officers, Licensed Security Officers, and Event Officers. These positions are responsible for observing and reporting activities and incidents at assigned client sites, ensuring the security and safety of client property and personnel. The roles involve frequent sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods, potentially including climbing stairs and navigating uneven terrain. Physical requirements may include lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally. Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must pass a lifetime background and drug test.
- 1 year of Security Experience.
- Must be available to work first, second, and third shifts, including weekends.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must have excellent communication skills and be professional.
- Professional appearance: Visible body piercing accessories or visible tattoos are not permitted, unless authorized.
- Must have excellent Customer Service skills.
- Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
Nice To Haves
- Armed Certified Officers will receive a $1,000 sign-on bonus after 30 days of employment.
Responsibilities
- Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site.
- Provide for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
- Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time.
- May involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
- Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
