About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Morning Diagnostic Center Vehicle Patrolr in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for staff, visitors, and patients. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, donors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Support a professional, respectful environment at a healthcare and plasma donation location while communicating observations to appropriate site contacts.
