About The Position

Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a College in Boston MA. Saturday and Sunday 1130 PM - 730 PM. Starting Pay is $22.05 Per Hour. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, campus-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of academic buildings, performance spaces, residence areas, parking locations, and campus perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate campus contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and campus information, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, or policy violations according to site procedures.
  • Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
