As a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Patrol in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal’s Driver Policy. You will provide outstanding customer service while supporting a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and innovation.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and policy concerns.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.
  • Document patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
