As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Driver in Yuba City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail and mall location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming experience through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout storefronts, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report concerns.
• Monitor access points and high-traffic areas to help support authorized entry, observe customer and employee activity, and report policy violations or suspicious behavior.
• Assist with closing procedures, after-hours checks, and/or alarm-related responses as directed by site instructions and Allied Universal protocols.
