About The Position

As a Security Officer for Busy Plaza in Lynwood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine driving and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document relevant details according to site expectations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Support daily property operations by assisting with access control, visitor interactions, and communication with property management regarding security-related matters.
