Full Time Security Officer - $20/HR
About The Position
The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. The role also serves as a helpful professional resource and ensures people on the property follow safety protocols. The position is located in Appleton, Wisconsin and pays $20.00 per hour. No prior experience is necessary. Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Above-average computer and technology skills.
- Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
- Must be able to remain calm under pressure and vigilant throughout the shift.
- Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
- Strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
- Must be willing to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities
- Maintain a secure environment that protects employees, customers, and visitors from harm.
- Respond effectively to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk and damage.
- Uphold company policies, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards.
- Protect sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized access.
- Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations.
- Perform access control at security entrances and exits.
- Conduct regular patrols of premises, including buildings, parking lots, and entry points, to identify potential security risks.
- Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.
