As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Service Patrol Driver in Rancho Cordova, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, trailer yards, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Observe and report incidents, hazards, damaged property, and suspicious activity, and respond to critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, patrol records, and incident reports while communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
