As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in St Paul, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, manage access points, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Candidates MUST have a valid driver's license with at least one year of driving history.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, patients, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate in a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and assist with directing patients and visitors to appropriate areas.
  • Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
