About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer for a driving patrol position at a retail and mall location in Tustin, California. The officer will provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and staff while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies. The role involves visible patrols, responding to incidents and concerns, assisting with access control and visitor guidance, and documenting activities. The position is scheduled for day shifts, Monday and Thursday through Sunday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, at a rate of $21.00 per hour. A valid driver’s license is required.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.

• Guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Respond calmly to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations, following site-specific procedures and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Assist with access control, visitor guidance, and directions throughout the retail location while maintaining a professional and approachable presence.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with company and site-specific requirements.
