As a Security Officer Patrol in Terre Haute, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer in a dynamic tech and media location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity through established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior work areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and assist with access control procedures for a technology, media, and telecommunications environment.
• Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts, following post orders, and reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
