About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Delphi, Indiana. The officer works a designated site and fixed weekly shift as a reliable base schedule, with a six-month commitment. Additional shifts may be claimed through the company’s scheduling platform, creating an opportunity to increase hours and potentially build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week. The listed pay rate is $15.15 per hour. The posted schedule is Thursday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.

The role provides security and customer service at a food production and warehouse location, including loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas. Duties include patrols, access monitoring, responding to incidents and alarms, and maintaining reports and logs. The position may involve emergency response activities as appropriate.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require being at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation, consistent with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license if the position involves driving.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers while following security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of food production, warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and facility concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, vendors, and delivery drivers according to site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel as directed.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and required logs.
• Work the designated site and weekly anchor shift for a six-month commitment; additional shifts may be claimed through the scheduling platform.
