As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol X Ray Screening in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist with loss-prevention awareness. You will deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while collaborating with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and committed to integrity.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, stockrooms, loading areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or activity.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, helping to deter unauthorized entry, theft-related activity, and policy violations.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in accordance with site requirements and promptly communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
