About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer for a logistics and distribution location in Frackville, Pennsylvania. The officer monitors and patrols assigned areas, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and supports a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, timely reporting, teamwork, and integrity. The scheduled hours are Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.50 per hour. Officers may use Allied Universal’s Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations, escalating issues according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel according to site-specific requirements.
Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities through clear and timely reports.
