About The Position

Allied Universal is currently hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a Bank in Boston MA. This role involves serving and safeguarding clients in financial institutions. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the banking location, including public areas, offices, entrances, and the exterior perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify concerns.
• Monitor entry points, observe customer and employee traffic, and report suspicious behavior, disturbances, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Support closing and opening routines, assist with alarm-related responses when appropriate, and communicate clearly with management, staff, and/or first responders during security-related events.
