We are seeking a professional, dependable, and experienced Security Officer to provide security services at a high-rise medical office building in the Houston Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have high-rise, medical office, hospital, or commercial building security experience and be comfortable working in a busy environment while handling multiple responsibilities at the same time.

Requirements

Previous security experience required
High-rise building experience strongly preferred
Medical office, hospital, or healthcare security experience is a plus
Current Texas security license as required for the position
Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills
Strong communication and observation skills
Ability to multitask in a busy environment
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations

Nice To Haves

Experience in a high-rise medical center is a major advantage.

Responsibilities

Monitor building entrances, exits, lobby, and common areas
Provide a professional and welcoming security presence for tenants, patients, visitors, and staff
Monitor access control and visitor activity
Conduct regular building and property patrols
Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies
Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports
Monitor CCTV and security systems
Assist with emergency procedures and evacuations
Communicate professionally with building management, tenants, visitors, and emergency personnel
Handle multiple tasks while maintaining strong situational awareness
Enforce building security policies and procedures
