Requirements

  • Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols.
  • Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures, helping to maintain orderly movement throughout the healthcare location.
  • Document observations, incidents, and actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.
