Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utility generation location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs related to patrols, incidents, access activity, and security-related observations.
