As a Security Officer Part Time Utilities Rover in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access points, and help to deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and support site operations with integrity, teamwork, reliability, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Guard card is required

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, parking areas, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions, hazards, or unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site procedures; maintain visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records as required.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
  • Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities through clear and accurate reports and shift logs.
