As a Security Officer Patrol Access Verification in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observed activity according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, noting unusual conditions and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized activity by observing foot traffic, checking credentials when required, and reporting suspicious behavior.
• Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by communicating with property personnel, assisting with routine requests, and following Allied Universal post orders.
